Remember when I was sorted into Ravenclaw for Pottermore and I was so confused because I thought I was a Gryffindor? (Stop right there. I know what you’re thinking. I didn’t think I was in Gryff. because I think I’m noble, brave and blah blah. I thought so because I tend to be a hot headed, attention seeking, loudmouth person sometimes.)

Man oh man was I SO wrong. My birth chart has come full circle and I make more sense to myself. My sun sign may be Leo, but my rising is Scorpio and my moon is Gemini. My planets and houses are dominated by Virgo, Capricorn and Scorpio and the only fire I have in me would be my sun sign-which is Leo (and a tinge of Sagittarius which is my II house-the house of finances). Your sun sign is your inner self, but that’s not even going to cut it. Your rising sign, moon, midheaven, planets and their conjunctions, trines and sextiles affect everything. Your rising is how you appear to others. So you could be a Pisces (they’re vulnerable, sensitive, intuitive and shy), but if your rising sign is Leo, you could come off as one. It’s taken me a while to do my birth chart on my own (about two years), but it’s been worth it. There are internet sites to do it, but I wanted to give it a try myself-the oldschool way.  

People think Astrology is bogus, but that’s only because they know the very tip of it. There’s so much more to you than your sun sign. If you want to give it a try, go to cafeastrology.com and do your natal chart. You need your birth date, where you were born and you MUST have the time you were born, otherwise it will not work.
